Our Lead Engineer role offers an environment to learn, challenge, and establish yourself as a professional with a direct impact on the company’s success.  The focus will be on leading small programs across our core markets of aerospace, electric vehicles, and data centers.  You will get the full experience, maintaining responsibility for development of hardware over the entire product life cycle, including initial feasibility and concept generation, analysis, parameterization, CAD design, prototyping, part fabrication, assembly, fluidic testing, and reporting.  Successful candidates will be comfortable taking on tasks as an individual contributor as well as delegating to her/his team as required to meet project deadlines.

  • Apply thermofluidic analysis and design tools to invent next-generation cooling hardware

  • Implement in-house prototyping tools to generate, evaluate, and select concepts

  • Develop mechanical designs to achieve system interface and structural requirements

  • Engage with external vendors to procure parts and hardware

  • Set up and perform experiments to test new technologies

  • Effectively document and communicate results

  • Work closely with leadership to balance business development goals with engineering feasibility



  • Master’s level or similar background in thermal fluids engineering

  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects

  • Experience in thermofluidic experimental design

  • Thermal and structural finite element analysis (FEA) proficiency

  • Demonstrated ability with hands-on builds/projects

  • Ability to work independently and on small teams

  • Solidworks proficiency

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
