Want to create and execute the sales strategies that will propel a small startup into some of tomorrow’s hottest industries?  JETCOOL Technologies is seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development professional to help expand our customer base and shape our growing technology company.   You will be the front of the company and will leverage your creativity and dedication to apply an effective sales strategy that grows our existing roots in the defense, electric vehicle, and data center industries.   Your focus will be driving financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with corporate customers. Your efforts will directly feed the company’s top-line growth — providing you with a strong professional development path and executive-level visibility.  Successful candidates will be highly organized and comfortable with customer discovery, lead engagement, collaborative negotiation, and closing deals.

Responsibilities

  • Building credibility and value in customer relationships through strategic research and preparation

  • Qualifying and disqualifying inbound leads using calls, emails, visits, and LinkedIn

  • Leading the company’s marketing strategy and implementation

  • Adjusting content of sales presentations by studying individual customer needs

  • Contributing to team effort by appropriately involving engineering as part of the sales process

  • Closing deals with existing customers and new accounts

  • Recommending changes in products, service, and strategy by evaluating results and competitive developments

  • Learn and leverage traditional and emerging sales and marketing techniques

  • Monitor and evaluate campaign budgets and performance

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university, or equivalent

  • Character, coachable, and driven to succeed

  • Ability and desire to learn and get better at your craft

  • Openness to creative, modern prospecting skills

  • Negotiation and deal-closing skills, without the hard sell

  • Comfortable at a desk or in the field

  • Strong presentation and listening skills

  • Building long-term client relationships

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

 

Bonus Points!

  • BA/BS from a 4-year university, with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising, sales, or business administration

  • 5+ years of experience in a high performance Business Development role

  • Working knowledge of the electronics or a hardware industry

  • Prior sales experience in the automotive, semiconductor, or data center industry

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM

 

This full-time position is based out of our Littleton, MA offices.  The position requires some travel (<50%).  The position offers opportunities for advancement and expanded responsibilities for exceptional candidates.  JETCOOL Technologies Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
